Responsibilities:- Lead and Mentor: Oversee and guide pre-construction and estimating teams to ensure efficient service delivery and enhanced performance.
- Bidding and Estimating: Review and oversee final bidding processes, subcontractor and supplier pricing, and proposals for negotiated and hard-bid projects.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the estimating team to create detailed cost models, budgets, spending forecasts, and schedules.
- Proposal Development: Generate competitive proposals for GMP contracts and present information effectively to subcontractors and team members.
- Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and strategic partnerships.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial or railroad construction estimating, with at least 3 years of leadership experience overseeing estimating/pre-construction teams.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with construction websites like Building Connected, Blue Book, and iSqFt.
