Job Description

**Job Summary**

Data Business Equipment is seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of client equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maintain optimal functionality.
  • Perform routine tasks such as belt adjustments, sensor calibration, and alignment checks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to install software updates and security patches.
  • Ensure equipment are running the latest firmware for enhanced security.
  • Utilize customer relationship skills to maintain a professional image.
  • Maintain accountability for parts inventory and company assets.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
  • Document any unusual incidents or observations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years related experience.
  • Prior experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and control costs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of basic electronics.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Clean driving record.
