Job Overview

This full-time remote role focuses on creating and maintaining comprehensive benefits documents for claims, requiring close collaboration with internal teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on experience).

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, update, and manage medical plan documents in line with client specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to research, amend, and finalize documentation, ensuring timely submissions within Service Level Agreements.
  • Track document progress accurately, proofread for quality, and adjust templates to reflect benefit design and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare or TPA settings, with 2+ years in claims handling, quality control, or plan documentation.
  • Familiarity with, and an understanding of the differences in, each type of Plan Document: SBC, SPD, BPD, SMM, and SMR.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with strong computer navigation and learning skills.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
