Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled John Deere Sprayer Technician to join our Service department. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural equipment, with a focus on sprayers and application machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural machinery and precision ag products.
  • Perform field diagnostics and repairs as necessary.
  • Document all diagnostics and repairs accurately and submit work orders promptly.
  • Mentor and guide Service Technician Trainees and fellow technicians.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay informed about John Deere and competitive products.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably one year of experience in servicing agricultural equipment.
  • Basic understanding of application chemicals and rates.
  • Proficient in basic computer functions.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Possess a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License and DOT Medical Certification.
