Regional Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

Riverstone Communities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to oversee the operations of our mobile home properties in Arkansas, New York, and Minnesota. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving regional success, leading property managers and their teams, and ensuring exceptional customer service and relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead property managers and their teams to ensure proper customer service, relationships, budget, and safety expectations are met.
  • Customer Service and Relationship Building: Provide excellent customer service towards residents, prospective residents, guests, and local municipalities to build and maintain relationships.
  • Occupancy and Staffing: Drive to a 100% occupancy rate at all properties and maintain 95% staffing levels with 'A Players' at all parks.
  • Profitability and P&L Management: Maintain profitability at all locations, work to a P&L, and develop an 'owner' mindset.
  • Reputation and Community Needs: Maintain Riverstone's reputation within the mobile home property management industry and attend to community needs outside of normal business hours when emergencies arise.
  • Performance Expectations and Standards: Set high standards for yourself and your team, managing to performance expectations, and perform prompt follow-up and follow-through.
  • Compliance and Fair Housing: Adhere to all state, government, and local requirements to meet and exceed the expectations of all Fair Housing guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Location: Be located in Minnesota.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience within management, preferably in property management/mobile home property management.
  • Customer Service: 5+ years of proven excellent customer service experience through various methods.
  • Team Management: 5+ years of experience managing a successful team.
  • Travel and Work Environment: Ability to travel 50%, by both automobile and airplane, and work from home 50% of the time.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency, including using the internet, Google or Microsoft programs, and email.
  • Initiative and Bilingualism: Ability to take initiative and seek out details and information, and bilingual in Spanish preferred.
