IT Helpdesk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Helpdesk Manager to join our team at the State of South Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Help Desk Team, troubleshooting and resolving complex software and hardware issues, and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer support services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Help Desk Team and assign incoming requests to the best available resource.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and resolving highly complex software and hardware issues with a friendly and welcoming personality.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair all computing equipment, printers, scanners, and projectors.
- Manage Onboarding/Offboarding procedures and ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies.
- Complete Position Description and Employee Performance Management System process for all assigned employees.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems or related field and five years of technical experience in computer system design, development, maintenance, and management.
- Associate's degree in computer science/information systems or related field and 7 years of experience in computer system design, development, maintenance, and management.
- Proven and strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 technical skills required.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple jobs, with constant interruptions and sometimes urgent situations.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
