Job Title: SAP Security and GRC Lead Consultant

Location: Normal, Illinois

Key Responsibilities

SAP Security & GRC Solution Architecture:

  • Direct the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Security frameworks, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and compliance standards.
  • Formulate and execute SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) strategies, emphasizing access management, risk assessment, and process governance.
  • Develop and oversee SAP role structures, segregation of duties (SoD) guidelines, and security roles across diverse SAP platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, BW).
  • Establish security protocols and policies that guarantee data integrity and compliance with regulations (GDPR, SOX).

SAP GRC Implementation and Oversight:

  • Configure and manage SAP GRC Access Control components, including Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Emergency Access Management (EAM), Access Request Management (ARM), and Business Role Management (BRM).
  • Lead the deployment of SAP GRC Process Control and Risk Management, ensuring robust risk mitigation and compliance tracking.
  • Conduct regular SoD reviews, security assessments, and compliance evaluations.
  • Integrate GRC solutions with other SAP modules and external applications to enhance comprehensive risk management.

Project Management:

  • Act as the primary consultant for SAP Security and GRC initiatives, overseeing resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure effective execution and enhancement.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, create project timelines, and guide teams through the complete lifecycle of SAP security initiatives.
  • Ensure timely project delivery within budget constraints, maintaining a strong focus on quality, security, and compliance.
  • Serve as the principal liaison for clients and stakeholders on security, risk, and compliance issues.

Security Governance and Compliance:

  • Formulate and implement SAP security policies, procedures, and governance frameworks across SAP environments.
  • Lead internal and external compliance audits, ensuring adherence to regulations such as GDPR, SOX, HIPAA.
  • Establish and oversee access control governance processes to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and mitigate security risks, driving continuous enhancements to the security and compliance framework.

Incident Management and Risk Assessment:

  • Direct security incident response activities within SAP environments, including root cause analysis, containment, and resolution.
  • Conduct risk evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies to bolster SAP system security.
  • Continuously monitor and assess SAP system security, access controls, and GRC workflows to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Training and Development:

  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to internal teams on SAP Security and GRC best practices.
  • Create training materials and documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer to client and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on SAP Security and GRC trends, tools, and methodologies, ensuring the organization adopts the latest technologies and practices.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and recommend process enhancements in SAP Security and GRC implementations.
  • Evaluate new security technologies and tools to improve the organization's security posture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into broader IT and SAP initiatives.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications in SAP Security and GRC are highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Security and SAP GRC Access Control implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading SAP Security and GRC projects, including design, implementation, and support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP GRC modules, including Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Security, SAP Fiori Security, and other SAP systems (ECC, BW, CRM).
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX) and security frameworks.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, EAM, ARM, BRM), Process Control, and Risk Management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP role design, user provisioning, access risk analysis, and segregation of duties (SoD).
  • Experience with SAP authorization concepts, roles, and profiles in SAP S/4HANA and ECC.
  • Strong familiarity with SAP Security audit tools, including SOD reports, user access reviews, and compliance monitoring tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot authorization issues, conduct user administration, and manage password policies.
  • Experience in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA security implementation and support.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for troubleshooting security issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
