Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform essential Cost Accounting functions.
2. Analyze and generate periodic reports that compare budgeted expenses to actual expenditures.
3. Assess the company's inventory and production costs, evaluate profit margins, and contrast actual costs with forecasts.
4. Establish and scrutinize cost standards, encompassing raw material, labor, and overhead expenses.
5. Collaborate with the finance department to formulate annual budgets, conduct risk assessments on prospective investments, and provide insights on potential returns.
6. Execute ongoing analyses of process constraints and regularly report cost trends to management to aid in strategic decision-making.
7. Utilize financial software for analysis and report preparation.
8. Ensure compliance of cost accounting activities with financial regulations and contractual obligations.
9. Work with auditors by supplying necessary information and clarifications during the auditing process.
10. Engage in month-end closing activities, ensuring precision and timeliness in results.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
2. At least 2 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing setting.
3. Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred.
4. Proven expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, analysis, and ERP systems.
5. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies.
6. Excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
7. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
8. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and ERP systems.
9. Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication and management at all organizational levels.
10. High integrity and reliability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
