Nutrition Services Associate

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Operator to join our team at Morrison Healthcare. As a Nutrition Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality food and nutrition services.
Key Responsibilities:- Secure patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face-to-face interactions
- Offer alternatives to menu items as allowed on prescribed diets, taking into account food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences
- Respond to patient needs at all times, resolving concerns or complaints immediately and reporting needed assistance to supervisors as appropriate
- Comply with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations
- Interact with nursing staff to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and patients' food needs are met
- Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policy as outlined in the facility's HIPAA policies and procedures
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- Follow HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply
- Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis, meeting all prescribed deadlines
