We are currently seeking a Full-time Radiation Therapist. New graduates are encouraged to apply. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available.
Compensation:
$50-$70 per hour
Role Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist, the Radiation Therapist will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering and documenting radiation therapy treatments with precision.
- Maintaining accurate patient treatment records in the electronic medical system.
- Contributing to the training of new therapists and students.
- Assisting in the management of patient appointments and ensuring accurate billing.
- Preparing custom molds and cutting blocks as necessary.
- Performing basic mu calculations and interpreting computerized treatment plans.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- ARRT certification is mandatory.
- A valid state license for radiation therapy is required.
Experience Levels:
Applicants will be classified based on their relevant experience:
- Radiation Therapist I: 0-3 years of experience.
- Radiation Therapist II: 3-5 years of experience.
- Senior Radiation Therapist: 5+ years of experience.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands for this role include regular sitting and the use of hands for various tasks. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of up to 30 pounds may be required. Vision and hearing must be within normal ranges.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, involving significant interaction with management, staff, and external stakeholders.
