Job Title: Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our team at Beverly Hills Cancer Center. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients, working closely with our team of radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the physician, ensuring accurate and safe treatment delivery.
  • Verify treatment plans and doses before each treatment, ensuring that patients receive the correct amount of radiation.
  • Use advanced technology, such as simulators and CT scanners, to accurately localize treatment areas and ensure precise radiation delivery.
  • Monitor patients' clinical progress, recognizing and reporting any signs of complications or adverse reactions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed treatment chart documentation, adhering to radiation safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation therapy, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • BS in a related field, such as radiation therapy or a related field.
  • ARRT Board certification and CRT certification.
  • One or more years of clinical experience in radiation therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
