As a Joint Force Analyst Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing training and feedback to Joint Force Commanders and their staffs during joint and multinational training exercises.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in Deployable Training Teams (DTTs) to observe, train, and provide feedback to Joint Force Commanders and their staffs.
- Conduct cross-functional analysis of information gathered from joint exercises and training events to develop lessons learned, insights, and best practices.
- Research national strategic documents, historical exercise documents, and real-world operations to inform training and feedback.
- Act as a subject matter expert and trainer in one or more functional areas, including Plans and Assessment, Sustainment, Intelligence, Command and Control, and more.
- Mentor, train, and support new Observer Trainers.
- Assist in the development of after-action review materials, including the Commander's Facilitated After-Action Review (FAAR) and Executive Summary Report (ESR).
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Joint Forces Staff College or Service equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of one or more functional areas, including Plans and Assessment, Sustainment, Intelligence, Command and Control, and more.
- Ability to write concisely at an executive level.
- Must be willing to travel worldwide, up to 30% of the time.
- S. Citizen with an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance once aboard.
- Combatant Command, Joint Task Force, Division, Afloat staff, or Wing staff experience.
- Understanding of the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and advanced warfighting concepts.
- Experience with the preparation and conduct of seminars or study groups for flag officers.
- Ability to write and prepare operational orders and plans.
