Position Overview

The AWS Cloud Governance team collaborates across various departments within AWS to deliver essential tools, best practices, and governance frameworks for our clientele. We are responsible for the management and execution of services and solutions that are fundamental to all AWS functionalities.

Role Responsibilities

This Executive Assistant will play a pivotal role in managing sensitive information while upholding a high standard of professionalism when interacting with senior leadership. Key responsibilities include:

  • Efficiently managing multiple intricate calendars and scheduling requirements.
  • Planning and coordinating events of varying scales.
  • Arranging both domestic and international travel logistics.

The ideal candidate will foster a positive team atmosphere and cultivate effective working relationships both within and outside the organization.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with leadership to assist in the planning and organization of events, activities, and schedules.
  • Oversee complex calendar management, prioritizing executive tasks and appointments based on their significance and urgency.
  • Act as a liaison between direct reports and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for both international and domestic trips.
  • Participate in event planning and facilitate key team activities, including staff meetings and all-hands gatherings.
  • Collaborate with other executive assistants within the organization to promote best practices and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Track and support the completion of critical deliverables across various programs.
