Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Adjunct Clinical Professor of Dental Hygiene to join our faculty team at Tyler Junior College. This part-time, 4.5-month position is responsible for providing classroom instruction and college service to our students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality classroom instruction and college service to students
  • Design and implement instructional activities that engage student learning and encourage student development of active learning skillsets
  • Facilitate student learning and successful completion of course by preparing and using appropriate instructional materials
  • Align learning opportunities and employ suitable assessments of course learning outcomes and program learning outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and submit required student attendance and grade reports by published deadlines
Qualifications
  • BS in Dental Hygiene or AAS in Dental Hygiene and bachelor's degree in related field
  • At least three (3) years current dental hygiene clinical experience
  • Current Texas license to practice professional dental hygiene or dentistry
  • Current Health Care Provider CPR training
