Dental Care Specialist

Examination and Diagnosis
Examine patients' medical records to understand their dental history and needs. Prepare patients for treatment by explaining the procedures and answering any questions they may have. Conduct thorough examinations of teeth, gums, and other parts of the mouth, including X-rays and tests, to diagnose dental problems.
Treatment and Prevention
Clean teeth and remove plaque to prevent dental problems. Identify tooth decay and replace cavities with fillings. Apply teeth-whitening treatments to improve the appearance of patients' smiles. Conduct tooth extractions and root canal procedures as needed. Perform surgeries on diseased tissues and bones. Prescribe medication as necessary. Educate patients on proper brushing techniques, flossing, and fluoride use to promote good oral health.
Requirements
Work experience as a Dentist is essential. In-depth understanding of dental hygiene and the ability to work with dental equipment and tools are also required. A pleasant and compassionate personality, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable, is necessary. Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure are also essential. A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD), or similar degree that gives license to practice the dentist profession is required.
