About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Center for Social Dynamics. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement evidence-based mental health services and Applied Behavioral Analysis programs to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other co-morbid developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct 100% of scheduled sessions, unless time-off has been granted or the parents of the client have communicated to the clinical team that they would not like for the hours to be provided.
  • Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers.
  • Communicate schedule changes and cancellations to the clinical team in regular meetings and promptly communicate with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexible availability, with high demand for time Monday through Thursday from 3-8 pm.
  • Complete new hire training conducted online and in person.
  • Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and COVID - California mandated).
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally and economically diverse population to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
