Job Title: Technical Sales Consultant

Join our team as a Technical Sales Consultant and play a key role in driving sales and growth for our Compu-Spread product line in the Snow and Ice Industry.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Technical Sales Consultant. As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our industry-leading hydraulic and electronic spreader control systems to customers in the Snow and Ice market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell and promote Compu-Spread products to customers in the Snow and Ice market
  • Develop and implement regional sales plans to meet business unit targets
  • Provide leadership and support to dealers and end-users in the specification and installation of Compu-Spread systems
  • Conduct training courses for end-users and dealers
  • Identify and pursue major end-user sales opportunities and strategic dealer development initiatives
  • Measure and report results on a monthly basis and make recommendations for future activity to enhance sales and margin performance
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the selling and specification of electronic and/or hydraulic systems
  • Strong working knowledge of heavy trucks and/or mobile hydraulic equipment
  • Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work with service personnel in troubleshooting system problems
  • Completed Fluid Power Technology (or equivalent) and Electrical/Electronic Technology (or equivalent) Diploma and Degree
  • Effective consultative selling, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP Knowledge or experience an asset
  • High customer service orientation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
