Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer Co-op to support our projects at the project site. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will assist the site Project Manager and Project Engineer in managing and administering the project, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and planning site layouts to ensure efficient project execution
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of project files and drawings
- Ensure that all work meets Messer's quality standards and client expectations
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize project efficiency
- Provide input on project scheduling, cost reporting, and project management solutions
- Coordinate with subcontractors and workforce to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Source and procure necessary materials and equipment for the project
- Identify and engage qualified subcontractors and suppliers for the project

Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with a focus on construction processes, industry, or delivery methods
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of employees
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
