We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Staples. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with equipment and systems.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of new equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role preferred.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet or more as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written).
