Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Aerotek. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing major repairs, including engine, transmission, and accident damage, as well as preventative maintenance and brake work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks to ensure a functional and operational transportation fleet
  • Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of equipment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of activity
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
Benefits:
