About the Role

Erie Neighborhood House is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our childcare and school-age programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to parents and other providers, ensuring timely and sensitive communication regarding re-determination status.
  • Assess and determine eligibility for childcare and/or school-age services, verifying documentation submitted in the state database IPACS, CCMS, or other designated sites.
  • Maintain accurate reports of re-determination status for children and family eligibility in the Child Care and School Age Programs.
  • Collaborate with the ERSEA Manager and other Intake Specialists to prepare required documentation for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), including ChildPlus and CSD Cares (Salesforce) data entry.
  • Ensure confidentiality of parent information received and managed by the agency.
  • Participate in the recruitment of children and families for program participation and meet with the Childcare Team to receive updates on child/family issues and programmatic matters.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma; AA in Business or related field preferred.
  • Computer skills for Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, and Outlook) required.
  • Experience with ChildPlus and CSD Cares (Salesforce) Database a plus; Office experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to follow directions.
