Structural Concrete Project Manager

As a Structural Concrete Superintendent at Barriere Construction, you will oversee the activities of the workforce, materials, trucking, and equipment, and track daily/weekly progress for multiple mid-sized projects. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily and weekly plans, ensuring timely completion and accurate timesheet submission.
- Collaborate with Foremen and General Superintendent/Project Manager to ensure project goals are met.
- Assign personnel to projects, communicate expectations, and monitor progress.
- Participate in weekly toolbox talks, staff meetings, and safety programs.
- Assist Foremen in preparing progress schedules and conducting site safety reviews.
- Support Estimator/Project Manager in pre-bid processes and pre-construction planning.
- Implement procedures for continuous improvement of safety, quality, and production.
- Five (5) years of Foreman experience or equivalent experience overseeing multiple crews on structural concrete construction projects.
- High School Diploma.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- Problem-analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.
- Seven (7) years of Foreman experience or equivalent experience overseeing multiple crews on structural concrete construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
