Job Duties:
  • Prepare, smooth, and finish surfaces of poured concrete roads and parking lots
  • Level concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, using handheld screed and floats to bring water to the surface and produce a soft topping
  • Smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete
  • Finish concrete surfaces, or wet and rub concrete with abrasive stone to impart a finish
  • Produce a rough concrete surface with a broom
  • Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using a powder grinder or chisel and hammer
  • Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience in form setting and concrete finishing
  • Set forms, place concrete, finish concrete
  • TWIC Card Required and Basic Plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions such as cold, heat, and humidity
  • The maximum unassisted lift requirement is 51 pounds
  • Must observe all safety protocols
