Nuclear Maintenance Planner III

ANR Group Inc is seeking a skilled Mechanical Planner III to join their team in Richland, WA.
The hourly rate range for this position is $48-$72 per hour (plus full benefits). This is a short-term assignment that may qualify for per diem.
The selected candidate will plan and prepare work instructions for mechanical and contract maintenance organizations, projects, and implementation of modifications. They will also select and approve purchase or make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution.
Key responsibilities include conducting field walkdowns to identify and analyze maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities, and providing input for refining and improving work package quality.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nuclear power plant work management and planning processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of experience in a technical area, or an associate's degree and eight years of experience, or a high school diploma and technical training or education similar to that acquired through an in-grade apprenticeship program for maintenance-related work and six years of experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for defining procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required to perform planned work packages, and facilitating package preparation by preparing and/or submitting required documentation.
They will also verify work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable station procedures, and approve and review all required work packages to ensure safety, high quality, technical rigor, and compliance with codes and standards.
Additionally, the candidate will provide project management of other system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall package preparation, and participate in work control/scheduling meetings, planning feedback/craft interface time, and other relevant activities.
Key skills and abilities include strong computer skills, ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems, and ability to obtain Planner I qualification.
