Job Summary:

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking an experienced Nuclear Electrical Planner III to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning and preparing electrical work packages for large- and small-scale projects to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare work instructions for electrical and contract maintenance organizations.
  • Select and approve purchase or make procurement recommendations for materials needed for work package execution.
  • Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities.
  • Interface and collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve work package issues.
  • Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for planned work packages.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical area.
  • OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and 8 years of experience in a technical area.
  • OR High school diploma or GED and technical training or education similar to that acquired through an in-grade apprenticeship program for maintenance related work and 6 years of experience in a technical area.
  • OR High school diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in a technical area.
  • Working knowledge of nuclear power plant work management and planning process, safety regulations, ALARA requirements, and nuclear security operations.
  • Able to communicate effectively in writing and orally, troubleshoot and solve technical problems, and manage time and prioritize work.
