Job Title: Business Operations Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst to join our team at MUFG. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for promoting operational process improvements, data quality, project support, automation, and metrics reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with various requirements, including Business Continuity, Compliance, and Systems Access.
  • Develop supporting materials and provide educational assistance to department staff as needed.
  • Perform Management Information Reporting, including daily/monthly activity, trend analysis, and preparing information for senior management.
  • Manage internal projects to enhance job performance productivity, maximize process effectiveness, and improve quality control practices.
  • Manage all internal operations, including risk, budget planning, transfer pricing allocation, and management reporting.
  • Assist in resolving Regulatory and Audit findings, including documenting, implementing, and monitoring corrective measures.
  • Assist with static data changes related to our payment system, Global PayPlus (GPP).
  • Perform duties of a Business Line Security Officer, including security administration, security awareness training, and managing System Access verification.
  • Responsible for maintaining departmental continuity plans, ensuring DR readiness, remote access readiness, contingency site requirements, and critical employee information.
  • Act as liaison between Business Continuity Planning and Systems regarding department needs.
  • Assist with FedLine Advantage/FedLine Web requests related to access, functionality, and security aspects.
  • Liaison between the Federal Reserve and Systems regarding upgrades, equipment, or user issues.
  • Represent the MTD management team on site in Tampa for interviewing, on-boarding, and hands-on process training for new staff members.
  • Act as primary liaison for managing Department engagements for risk control testing, internal audits, regulatory reviews, and third-party testing for SOX and Compliance.
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience as a business analyst in a financial institution.
  • Overall knowledge of banking and operations.
  • Strong executive-level communications, presentations, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access, Business Objects, Finastra's Global PayPlus.
  • Able to assimilate applications/systems, their fundamental attributes, and recommend improvements.
  • Able to teach others functional aspects of various systems/applications.
  • Able to interact with others at all levels.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and functions.
  • Self-starter.

We offer a competitive salary range of $106K - $145K, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
