Position Overview:

As a Healthcare Unit Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of compliant, high-quality, and cost-effective healthcare services while achieving positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and staff within your designated unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage for safe patient care.
  • Provide professional guidance and oversight to non-professional unit staff.
  • Assess the educational needs of the staff and coordinate training initiatives with the Nurse Educator.
  • Oversee medication management to ensure sufficient supplies and compliance with company policies.
  • Engage in direct patient care alongside other nursing staff to maintain clinical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the relevant state.
