We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our construction projects in New Mexico, just west of El Paso, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, including the supervision of construction personnel, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure that plans and specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
- Lead jobsite safety meetings and maintain safety logs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the Construction Project Manager to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage multiple subcontractors and vendors across several trades to ensure specifications are met.
- Regularly inspect work being performed on the project to ensure quality is being achieved.
- Manage construction scheduling on a tight timeline and order materials as necessary.
- Enforce company and project policies, and ensure compliance with local jurisdiction requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising all phases of building construction projects.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in commercial construction.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and challenges daily.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with effective listening skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and timely with customers, vendors, management, and other stakeholders.
- OSHA 10/30, CPR, and First Aid Certifications preferred.
