Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Lightspeed Construction Group. As a key member of our construction department, you will be responsible for coordinating construction efforts, ensuring safety and quality of work, and leading a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate construction activities, including in-house and contract labor, for new construction, maintenance, and rebuild projects.
- Ensure safety and quality of work performed within the construction department.
- Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including hiring, training, development, and performance management.
- Collaborate with project managers, other departments, and contractors to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
- Reconcile submitted invoices, order materials, and analyze worker or production problems to recommend solutions.
- Train workers in construction methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Record information, such as personnel, production, or operational data, on specified forms or reports.
- 3+ years of construction work experience.
- 1+ years of leadership experience.
- Ability to read and understand prints.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, workforce, and equipment needed.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, DOT and OSHA regulations, and strategies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Field environment working in inclement weather; flexibility of schedule according to needs of the operation.
