Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Claims Adjuster to join our team in San Francisco. As a Property Claims Adjuster, you will investigate commercial property claims, evaluate damages, determine coverage, and negotiate settlements with policyholders and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough and fair investigations to determine coverage, origin, and extent of loss
  • Review and utilize financial statements to adjust business interruption losses
  • Engage and manage consultants and independent adjusters as required
  • Establish and maintain accurate loss cost estimates and reserves for each claim
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with policyholders and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 18 months of progressively responsible experience in property claims adjusting
  • Knowledge of property insurance, commercial property claims, and claims investigation and evaluation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
