Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Defect Claims Adjuster to join our team at North American Risk Services (NARS). As a premier third-party claims administrator, we handle claims for insurers, brokerages, and other entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze complex construction defect claims, encompassing various levels of complexity.
  • Determine compensability, liability, and negligence, while coordinating medical care and managing litigation.
  • Negotiate settlements and identify potential fraud, ensuring compliance with state statutes and client guidelines.
  • Manage a case load of approximately 125 pending multi-jurisdictional construction defect claims.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in construction defect claim adjusting or similar field, with a focus on complex litigation.
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills, with proficiency in directing attorneys and arbitration.
  • Advanced ability to work independently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex concepts to auditors, clients, and potential clients.
