Job Description

NewPath Child & Family Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Teacher to join our team at the Hamilton East Campus.

The successful candidate will provide educational instruction in all subject areas to students with diverse needs, developing and implementing individualized education plans to ensure academic and behavioral progress.

As a member of our residential program team, you will work collaboratively with clinical staff to integrate behavioral health and education, promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide educational instruction in all assigned academic subjects and daily living skills.
  • Prepare instructional materials to meet each student's individual needs.
  • Evaluate and track academic/behavioral progress for each student.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assist in planning for student transitions and reintegration into the community school setting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college (Master's degree preferred).
  • Current and active teaching license required or substitute license (Intervention Specialist license preferred).
  • Two years of experience working with high-risk youth preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance with no DUI/OVI violations and no more than 5 points on your MVR.
  • Clean criminal background check.
