As a seasoned Plumber with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving residential and light commercial plumbing issues. Your expertise will also be utilized to identify potential problems, prevent premature breakdowns, and maintain plumbing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving residential and light commercial plumbing issues.
  • Identifying potential problems to prevent premature breakdowns.
  • Maintaining and repairing plumbing systems carrying water, waste, and fuel.
  • Inspecting water and gas systems to detect malfunctions.
  • Repairing or replacing plumbing fixtures, testing joints, and pipe systems.
  • Interpreting drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements.
  • Reviewing blueprints, building codes, or specifications to determine work details and procedure.
  • Measuring, cutting, threading, bending, reaming, and installing pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Installing pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures using hand or power tools.
  • Maintaining a properly cleaned and stocked service vehicle.
  • Participating in periodic inventory and truck inspections.
  • Maintaining tools and machinery in good condition and using all tools safely.
  • Providing pricing to customers for approval prior to performing any work.
  • Retaining 90% of membership clients and maintaining an 85% appointment conversion ratio.
  • Maximizing lead opportunities based on the company's business plan.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of verifiable plumbing experience in a residential service and maintenance operation.
  • Knowledge of local and national plumbing codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • BASIC change order cost estimating experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A GED or high school diploma is required, while an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen is required.

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We are offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5000 to the right candidates.
