Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned book of business and develop client relationships to grow and retain clients.
  • Partner with producers to develop and implement client benefits strategies.
  • Prepare plans to identify short- and long-term client needs and develop solutions.
  • Interface with clients at various levels to understand their objectives and requirements.
  • Maintain regular interactions with clients to develop relationships and advise on new product and service offerings.
  • Ensure all services are implemented according to established project plans and meet quality standards.
  • Direct the account team in executing deliverables according to standards and best practices.
  • Coach and mentor the account team on strategies, project management, and customer service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid CA Life Agent license or willingness to obtain.
  • Preference given to candidates with brokerage or insurance carrier account or sales management experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, customer service, and industry knowledge skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions to clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong relationship management and team player skills.
  • Leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor others.
