About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Disability Support Worker to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide personalized support and assistance to individuals with special needs in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Provide direct support and care to individuals with special needs, including assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Facilitate community outings and activities that promote socialization and engagement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with special needs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $38,000 - $42,000 per year (based on experience).
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Paid time off and holidays.

Work Environment

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
  • Occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required.
