We are seeking an Autism Support Worker to join our team at QSAC, Inc. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and their families.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $17.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a generous paid time off policy and 403(b) retirement plan.

Job Description:

This position involves providing direct care and support to individuals with autism in a variety of settings, including group homes, day programs, and community-based programs. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to person-centered care and a passion for working with individuals with autism.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with autism, as needed
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote learning and development
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on individual progress and needs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
