About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, planning, designing, and developing mechanical products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering calculations, analysis, research, and design
  • Provide engineering support to designers and tradesmen
  • Analyze mechanical and/or electrical failures and problems and provide engineering solutions to return ships to service
  • Provide technical recommendations and documents to internal and external customers
  • Effectively communicate and engage with team members
