Position Summary
As a Senior Technical and Reporting Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the financial lives of our members through our cutting-edge digital finance solutions.

This remote position allows you to collaborate with a skilled team within the Center of Excellence (COE) to enhance automation, improve reporting efficiency, and implement new US GAAP standards as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate across departments to identify potential accounting challenges and propose effective solutions related to business transactions.
  • Monitor organizational activities to ensure timely recognition of accounting and financial reporting issues, preparing comprehensive accounting memorandums for senior leadership and auditors.
  • Work with the COE to compile Consolidated Annual Audited Financial Statements and quarterly compliance reports.
  • Assist in daily and monthly reporting processes that support financial closing activities.
  • Facilitate financial audits by preparing audit requests and compiling technical accounting assessments.
  • Engage with advisory services to analyze accounting standards and evaluate their business implications for new or revised technical accounting practices.
  • Support the development and review of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participate in reviews with business units to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statement disclosures.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions on various accounting topics.
  • Assist in evaluating and maintaining key controls over financial reporting.
  • Represent the organization as a technical expert in Consolidation and Cash Flow Financial reporting under ASC 810 and ASC 860.
Qualifications
  • CPA certification is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Strong technical GAAP knowledge, particularly with ASC 842, ASC 810, ASC 230, and ASC 860.
  • Experience in the Financial Services sector is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Experience in Public Company and/or Public Accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle is beneficial.
