Job Overview

Quick Hire Staffing is on the lookout for a committed and dependable Manufacturing Assembly Technician to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will engage in seat assembly tasks within a dynamic production environment. This position offers an excellent chance to thrive in a high-energy manufacturing setting while playing a key role in the creation of top-notch products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute assembly operations in line with established work procedures, quality standards, and production timelines.
  • Transition between various stations on the assembly line as per the designated rotation plan.
  • Manage and address non-conforming materials effectively.
  • Promptly report any defects in components or materials to the Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Quality Assurance team.
  • Conduct seat disassemblies and minor repairs as necessary, either on or off the production line.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of tools and equipment required for tasks, making minor adjustments when needed.
  • Propose and implement solutions through the appropriate channels and actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster teamwork and collaborate efficiently with fellow team members.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace and equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, prioritize safety, and report any unsafe conditions or actions to management immediately.
  • Notify your Supervisor promptly regarding any injuries, accidents, illnesses, near misses, or property damage.
  • Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations as per company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in assembly or production line roles is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and achieve production goals.
  • Strong focus on detail and quality assurance.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and capability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work various shifts as required.
