This role demands a high level of independence and adaptability, as technicians will be expected to manage their responsibilities autonomously each day. Ideal candidates will appreciate working outdoors in a dynamic environment where every day presents new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain traffic monitoring devices that capture data on vehicles violating traffic regulations.
- Perform daily setup, operation, and shutdown of equipment, adhering to company protocols and troubleshooting as required.
- Continuously monitor and optimize equipment performance throughout each work shift.
- Work hours may vary, including weekends, early mornings, and overnight shifts.
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of daily tasks performed.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in repairing and maintaining electrical and electronic systems.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and battery testers.
- Basic understanding of AC/DC power supply principles and applications.
- Experience with wire repairs and terminations.
- Knowledge of network control systems, including cat-5 and wireless routers.
- Experience with digital camera technology.
- Understanding of electronic control systems.
- Ability to work independently with effective time and task management skills.
- Experience in Cable TV or Satellite Installation is advantageous.
- Clean driving record is essential.
- Successful background screening is mandatory.
- Drug testing will be conducted.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus.
