We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Caron Treatment Centers. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our staff, visitors, and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory of apartment accessories, kitchen utensils, cookware, and linens in apartments and surplus stockrooms.
  • Ensure all assigned areas meet standards of cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, cleaning ovens, stovetops, refrigerators, dusting, vacuuming, etc.
  • Execute work orders to perform required housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Report all potential hazards, property damage, or unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Department to ensure a safe environment.
  • Report all clinical concerns in the residences to the Director of Support Services and/or Clinical Team to ensure patient quality of care.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must produce and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with Driving Standards Policy.
  • Must meet minimum requirements on Motor Vehicle Reports in accordance with Driving Standards Policy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • If in recovery, 2 years continuous sobriety is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate professional communication skills to include the ability to interact and work together with co-workers, patients, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ability to follow written or verbal directions.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment required.

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to stoop, bend, push, and pull.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to climb stairs.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to use step and extension ladders not to exceed 5 feet.
  • Must be able to do repetitive and strenuous work.
