Job Summary

This is a permanent intermittent position with the Department of Parks & Recreation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Auburn State Recreation Area facilities and trail systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair facilities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry, and erosion control.
  • Work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Perform indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • May work in remote locations.
  • May have extensive exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
Requirements
  • Valid California Driver's License (CDL).
  • Background Investigation clearance prior to appointment.
Working Conditions

The position requires frequent periods of bending, stooping, and lifting. The work environment may be physically demanding and require working in inclement weather.
