Patient Safety Officer

LifeBridge Health seeks a seasoned Patient Safety Officer to join our team. As a key member of our quality and patient safety leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective patient safety initiatives across our system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance patient safety programs to promote a culture of safety and reliability
- Collaborate with medical staff and hospital leadership to create action plans for patient safety initiatives
- Direct and collaborate activities to identify, evaluate, and reduce patient injuries and risks
- Continuously evaluate and improve the patient safety program based on internal needs and external requirements and standards
Requirements:
- Master's degree in nursing or healthcare leadership
- 5-7 years of experience in patient safety or a related field
- Maryland Registered Nurse License (RN) required
- Patient Safety (CPPS) certification preferred
