Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychotherapist to join our team at Element Care. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will provide essential services to clients in nursing home settings, including psychiatric evaluations, individual and group psychotherapy, and behavioral health consultation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop clinically appropriate treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based and best practice interventions.
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to integrate psychiatric concepts and skills into care delivery.
  • Document interventions and client progress in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Participate in Behavioral Health program projects to enhance clinical practice and teamwork.
  • Provide consultation and support to team members to increase their ability to address behavioral health issues.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • License to practice in the Commonwealth of MA as an LICSW or LMHC.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in psychotherapy practice.
  • Evidence of competence in evaluating and treating older adults, including psychotherapy, crisis evaluations, and consultation to caregivers.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with elders.
  • Covid vaccines required.
