Available Shifts and Work Hours:

We are looking for both full-time and part-time Registered Nurses to join our team for night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Each shift lasts 12 hours, with a schedule of 3 days per week, and additional differentials are available. All full-time RNs are expected to rotate weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Perform assessments to evaluate patients' physical and mental health requirements.
  • Create and implement nursing care strategies.
  • Maintain precise medical documentation and educate patients and their families.
  • Comply with nursing standards and facility guidelines.
  • Ensure effective communication of physicians' directives and monitor patients' conditions.
  • Administer medications accurately and adhere to documentation protocols.
  • Manage patient admissions and discharges efficiently.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients while upholding professional boundaries.
  • Coordinate unit operations and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and team members.

Qualifications and Licensing Criteria:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
  • Prior experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred.
  • Certifications in CPR, de-escalation, and restraint techniques are beneficial.
  • First Aid certification may be required based on state laws.
