Position OverviewThe Onboarding Coordinator will serve as the main liaison for hiring managers, facilitating the integration of new team members into the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless onboarding journey for both the hiring manager and the new employee. As an Onboarding Coordinator, you will assist new hires in acclimating to the company, understanding policies, accessing resources, and addressing inquiries related to pre-employment documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist managers in procuring IT equipment and ensure new hires are informed about accessing company resources (e.g., SuccessFactors, ADP, HR Service Center, Global Information Hub).
- Coordinate the ordering of necessary identification badges and confirm work location details.
- Verify that contingent workers are properly entered in SuccessFactors.
- Conduct bi-weekly audits to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Facilitate technical support for new hires regarding hardware and software setup.
- Identify and implement enhancements to the onboarding and post-onboarding processes.
- Communicate the company’s culture and core values to new employees.
- Gather and analyze feedback from new hires to refine the onboarding experience.
- Support new employees in understanding their roles, responsibilities, and start dates.
- Provide updates and reports to the HR Director and senior management as needed.
Essential:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources or a related administrative capacity.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours may be required.
Desirable:
- Experience in onboarding within the medical device or healthcare sectors across various regions is preferred.
- Familiarity with onboarding systems and HR platforms such as SuccessFactors is advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with keen attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to navigate competing priorities while demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
- Capacity to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Proficiency in handling sensitive and confidential information.
