We are seeking a skilled Compliance and Training Supervisor to support our employees across various subsidiaries in enhancing their skills and knowledge. This role involves conducting compliance assessments in line with relevant laws, internal processes, and grant requirements to identify areas needing improvement or training. Once these needs are identified, the supervisor will collaborate with operational leaders to implement effective strategies for employee development. Strong communication skills are crucial for success in this position. Ultimately, your contributions will be vital in helping Kinexus Group thrive by pinpointing risks during monitoring and delivering necessary training for professional advancement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Compliance and Training Supervisor will be primarily responsible for monitoring staff development initiatives to ensure the integrity of Kinexus Group's service delivery. This includes:

  • Identifying strengths and weaknesses in service operations and enhancing staff knowledge through targeted training.
  • Collaborating with operational leaders to rectify training needs identified through monitoring.

MONITORING:

  • Work closely with the COO to develop and prioritize the annual compliance monitoring calendar.
  • Conduct internal monitoring, including:
    • Maintaining organized documentation to support compliance findings.
    • Creating monitoring guides and templates for compliance reviews.
    • Performing annual reviews of each program and collaborating with staff for training and corrective actions.
  • Provide monthly and semi-annual reports to relevant authorities.
  • Prepare written reports for the COO detailing the root causes of compliance violations and necessary corrective actions.
  • Engage with operational leaders to develop plans addressing noncompliance issues.
  • Stay updated on state and federal regulations relevant to all funding sources.
  • Manage the SharePoint Compliance page as a resource for staff.
  • Lead external monitoring preparations and responses as needed.

TRAINING:

  • Design and implement learning strategies and programs.
  • Assess individual and organizational development needs based on monitoring outcomes.
  • Utilize various learning methods, including coaching and online training.
  • Develop and deliver e-learning courses and workshops.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of development plans and assist employees in maximizing learning opportunities.
  • Support operational leaders in developing their team members regarding compliance.
  • Identify and assess training needs in consultation with operational leaders.
  • Conduct effective orientation sessions for workforce development programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness and report on outcomes.
  • Tailor training programs to resolve specific issues as necessary.
  • Stay informed about training trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Risk Management to develop programmatic training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, human services, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in workforce development and quality assurance.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Effective presentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in research, evaluation, and program compliance.
  • Knowledge of effective learning and development methods.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms.
