Job Summary

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team at Grosse Pointe Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic exams using various imaging modalities, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and verification of physician orders.
  • Acquire and document patient histories, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain competency in all assigned areas.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross.
