Sales Development Associate

As a Sales Development Associate at M&R Hotel Management, you will play a critical role in supporting the Sales department in managing and maintaining corporate group business. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and support to external clients and internal partners.
Key Responsibilities- You will be the first point of contact for incoming sales calls, responding promptly and professionally to all internal partners and external customers.
- You will demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and proactive planning skills, ensuring organization and attention to detail are maintained.
- You will work diligently to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to assisting with room blocks, reporting, client notifications, group resumes, event orders, billing details, and other administrative aspects of booking or executing groups and events.
- You will track, detail, and communicate with internal partners and external clients about the particulars of each assigned event and group, as needed.
- You will learn and use digital sales systems and conceptual sales processes, understanding the hotel's sales strategies, rates, fees, budgeted goals, etc., to efficiently complete job duties.
- You will participate in and report out at necessary internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, training, and other communications required for this position.
- You will strive to work collaboratively, embodying an entrepreneurial spirit to make the best possible decisions for the hotel and achieve the team's overall goals.
- You will consistently attain sales activity goals and individual revenue goals, including proactive and reactive calls, tours, and appointments, as outlined by M&R and your supervisor (if applicable).
- You will follow the rules as found in the M&R Employee Handbook.
- You will perform other duties as assigned by Management, which you are capable of performing.
