As a Produce Sales Development Specialist with US Foods, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and penetration of our produce category.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team, possessing a deep understanding of the produce market and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell produce categories to existing and new customers through consultative selling techniques and strategic product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to identify and pursue high-potential accounts, providing expert category knowledge and training to drive business results.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase category penetration and drive revenue growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product offerings and sales approaches.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the produce category or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of produce products, including culinary skills and menu applications.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

The estimated base rate for this role is between $55,000 and $110,000 annually. Additionally, this position will receive an annual incentive plan bonus.
